Welcome to the Behringer Pro-800 section of Illustrious Sound!
The Pro-800 sits in an interesting place — polyphonic, but still very much rooted in that classic analog mindset. It has a way of sounding both familiar and slightly unexpected, depending on how you approach it.
In this section, I’ll be exploring chords, sequences, and evolving textures, paying close attention to how the voices interact and how the filter shapes the overall character. I’m especially interested in how it handles subtle movement — small changes that bring a patch to life over time.
There’s something appealing about instruments like this that don’t try to do everything, but instead focus on doing a few things really well. The Pro-800 feels like one of those instruments — straightforward on the surface, but with plenty to uncover once you spend some time with it.
